Comment Policy

Comments from readers are very useful as feedback for a writer, I being no exception to the rule. Without a proper feedback mechanism, a writer will never be able to adopt best practices and produce her masterpieces.

Readers are welcome to comment on this blog to promote discussion.  However, please abide by few simple rules:

  1. No offensive language. You are encouraged to participate in the discussion on any post as a mature, professional and sober individual. Please maintain a civil discourse while participating in discussions, and avoid usage of offensive, foul words.
  2. Stay on the track. Do not derail the discussions from the core issue to something else. Discussions often wander as they progress but attempts to consciously hijack the discussions will be discouraged and possibly such comments may get deleted. This is what trolls do generally and I am allergic to them and may block them.
  3. No improper hyperlinks. I will not allow any comments with hyperlinks to offensive, malicious or misrepresented content.  Links to other URLs are allowed in comments, only when they are relevant to the topic and from genuine sources.  Spam comments will be deleted immediately.
  4. Comments are moderated. I personally moderate all comments and your comment will appear as soon as I check them. For this, I will not be able to provide any timeframe. I will not edit the content of any comment, but any comment that violates any of these rules is subject to deletion at my sole discretion. Comment threads automatically close one month after the post is published.
Thank you for your co-operation in keeping the comments sections useful and appropriate.
