Why Using Kim Jong-un's Photo in a Banner Isn't Good?

Kim Jong-un and Donald Trump the stories told and believed

When the regime of fascist war monger Donald Trump can launch 59 missile strikes on a sovereign country's air base and other targets with an aim to bully it, no one calls the regime and its mad-dog president lunatic. The country happens to be America, from where the dollars those fund corporations come from and the corporations own the media and the corporations buy ad space from the media houses. So which of the editors of the 'free media' can oppose the US and draw the wrath of the board of directors?

So America happens to be the land of the free and those who are great (probably great killers?), the country that does no wrong. The US is called pious, despite killing nearly 100 million people in last seven decades, well which means, nearly 1.38 million people every year were killed by the US, directly and indirectly, through wars, terrorism, or by causing extreme poverty or by triggering catastrophes through an extreme weather change.

Scribble it in your memory - the US has the highest stockpile of nuclear and chemical weapons; the US fought more than one war, directly or indirectly, in each continent of the world and it holds the highest record of human right violations globally. Remember it's the only country, which has stationed its troops, throughout the globe, even without the packaging of the NATO, commanded by it, and the world is virtually occupied and monitored by it, through its numerous military, intelligence and technological outposts.

Remember, whatever you think of your government or political parties, there are none in the mainstream throughout the world that can oppose the US and its hegemonic policies or can look eye ball-to-eye ball with the US and assert sovereignty. Through a host of monster systems like the World Bank, the IMF and the WTO, the US exerts its absolute control over 90 per cent of the world economies, including Russia and China, two of its big contenders. Any opposition to its hegemony or policies can result in an economic blockade, military coup, terrorist uprisings by fundamentalists or a total military aggression launched against that government.

So, when the US is all about such nice Hollywood flicks where its lead actors save the world from bad guys, then you need villains and the villains are those who refuse to obey the diktats of the pious hero, the US. Earlier, the Soviet Union and the Maoist China played the role, they were often portrayed as the bad guy in the Hollywood flicks. Since the disintegration of the Soviet Union and the change of China's hue, the US-ruled empire is constantly erecting foes and advisories, one after another. You're enjoying the show and echoing the Master's Voice.

Apart from branding the entire Muslim community its enemy since late 1990s, the US ruling classes, who are facing a severe economic crisis caused by the capitalist system's internal contradictions, branded one after another sovereigns as the enemy of the US and waged wars, by transferring the money collected by taxing the common American citizens and earned by plundering the semi and neo-colonies of Asia-Africa-South America to the coffers of the American military-industrial complex. Sometimes, the enemy is Saddam Hussain, Muammar Gaddafi, or Bashar al-Assad, while sometimes it's Kim Jong-un or anyone else who calls a spade – a spade.

Doesn't matter which part of the world under the US jackboots you live in, your mainstream media will portray those who dare the US as villains and will vilify them whom the US calls its foe. So you will believe that Saddam Hussain was a womaniser, a mass killer, a brutal dictator, while you will be told that Bill Clinton happens to be a pious man, committed only to his wife and never sexually abused his secretaries. You will believe all these, because, after all, the media entity that has a century-old existence tells you so. You can't question the authenticity because it doesn't question your favourite prime minister and his catastrophic policies.

Though you may dislike the cacophony of their TV anchors, especially when they all utter same words at high decibel and keep pressing points like “hail the army” that you are told to reiterate since childhood, without the sticky note about the necessity of hailing the military in a democratic society, but still, you love your media, because they come with some spicy details that you never knew. Like how to prolong sexual pleasure without ejaculating!

So, probably, you live in India and you believe that Kim Jong-un is a dictator, a mass murderer, a fanatic and a madman. You believe he kills people who dare to copy his haircut. You believe, as your media tells you, through gigabytes of content on the internet, TV and print - how keen the Kim is to fire a nuclear missile and start a world war. However, you never know why the people of this mad man's “kingdom”, as the US will call it, don't rise up in rebellion against this man and his sycophants when he and his father have starved them to death.

When talking about despotic governments and inhuman dictators, the Americans never utter the names like Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Zionist Israel or other such terrorist-despotic states that kill and torture people to legitimise their illegal rule. Ever wonder why? Or why Narendra Modi gets the highest civilian award – Order of Saudi Arabia from the kingdom's monarch? Maybe, your brain doesn't want to venture into those not-so-interesting details.

You probably don't want to know why Kim Jong-un, Kim Jong-Il and Kim Il-sung (you never heard of the last two Kims, did you?) are so revered by the Korean people, even at the risk of losing their lives to American missiles (oh! You believe no one wins against the US!)? You never heard how the Koreans defeated the US and liberated the Northern part of the peninsula from the US occupation in 1950? How could you when you subscribe to corporate media?

You think that because they are dictators so people just hail them out of fear, but hate them quite a lot in their private chambers. Like they hated Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, whose government won popular support to defeat the ISIS and the terror forces whom the US and the West funded and armed. Or probably like the people hated Saddam Hussain, who is revered, even at present, by the Iraqi people for leading a country and developing it without letting in any form of religious or sectarian terrorism.

Probably, because your beloved media says so, you think Kim Jong-un is hated more than the people of the world, especially those in Asia-Africa and South America, hates Donald Trump and his 'great American dream'. Therefore, it's right for you to hate Kim Jong-un as you want world peace and believe only under the leadership of a 'strong' country like the US such world peace can be achieved.

You don't care when majority of the American poor, the Afro-Americans, the American Muslims (why would you care about Muslims? They are terrorists anyway), the Mexicans (you just know their Chicken dishes! But guess you don't know where on earth is Mexico), the people of colour and the democratic and progressive voices within and outside the US despise, loath and oppose a fascist, narcissist, serial sexual abuser, paedophile and a lunatic moron like Donald Trump, who rose to power by using vitriol and bigotry and happens to be absolutely unapologetic about it.

For you, he is the president of your dream country, a country about which you're very proud of (few American Desis are proud of India too, without even seeing the country for decades!) and you desperately seek the visa to go there or maybe a citizenship will bring jubilation in your otherwise mundane elite or upper-middle-class life! Hallelujah! Hallelujah!

So when your co-citizens organise a religious ritual praying for the victory of Donald Trump in the US election, when some desi crony bootlicker of the US administration and corporations organise a fundraiser for maniacs like Donald Trump and Bollywood stars dance to item numbers for raising money under a banner “Hindus for Trump” - you silently support it, because since childhood you're trained to love people who value military valour above democratic principles. You're taught to love fascists, including Hitler, for that matter, because fascism is considered good by your ilk. So you love Donald Trump and also, Narendra Modi.

Probably this is a reason that you vociferously advocate encounter killings to resolve the problem resulting from a total breakdown of law and order situation and a slow judicial system, but you never demand a total and radical change of the system to ensure that justice is delivered optimally and swiftly. For you, mobocracy is good and Shambhulal Raigir is a hero.

You love the system, it gives your by-birth-privileges and thus you demand the establishment of a police state, to secure those rights. Or maybe it's the sheer hatred for the Muslims that makes you a Modi-bhakt and a Trump cheerleader at the same time. I don't know, but I guess it's nearly the mix of everything and few drops of the intoxicating fascist doctrine you were radicalised with; yes, in the absence of your conscience and consensus.

When a political party of India, whose colour you hate and you, of course, despise a part of the name too much, uses an image of Kim Jong-un in one of its banner and the leader of the ruling clique criticises it by calling that party  and its ideology an enemy of India, you train your gun accordingly and start hurling abuses at those who have dared to paint the image of a man, who, despite ruling a small and impoverished nation, does what is right in the present world context – dare the US and its maniac president.

Because you unconditionally believe what the leaders of the ruling clique say, especially that leader of the ruling party, who accused the opposition parliamentary party of conspiring when the latter used an image of Kim Jong-un in its propaganda poster in Kerala. You love the ruling party's leader as he draws nearly ₹25 lacs as salary from a state-owned corporation after being offered the position due to his political allegiance to the ruling clique and not his merit. You strongly believe merit is the criteria for any position when the Dalits get a chance to apply for them.

It doesn't matter to you that the man who questioned a political party's independent usage of the image of Kim Jong-un is the same pathetic man whose hired goons mercilessly butchered Muslim men and children, raped Muslim women, no! Wait, gang-raped Muslim women and even fantasise raping their corpse, like necromaniacs; goons who tore open the womb of pregnant women to fork out the unborn foetus to burn them in fire (courtesy 2002 Gujarat pogrom – overlooked by the present prime minister of India, who milked it to win elections regularly and the genocide is religiously hailed by the entire Hindutva camp, including a sitting governor, who claims that it was a proud moment for 'Hindus').

The ranting of the rabble-rouser of the ruling clique looks authentic to you, as the corporate-controlled media seconds him too. You think that Kim Jong-un looks strange, even when your own ideal Twitterati prime minister dresses in the weirdest ways to woo voters and even use traditional tribal costumes to hoodwink people with a cheap intention of winning votes by milking sentiments.

You condemn Kim Jong-un and you condemn the party or the people who stand behind the man who can take on the US all alone in the Asia-Pacific region, despite being bullied by the world's largest militarised fascist power. For you, he is a lunatic, because sane people should talk about nuking Pakistan, which itself is an impoverished and sectarian civil war-torn country.

For you, the nukes should target China, because your media and the military-industrial complex that sells armament to your government tells you that your country must participate in a war against China and you must pay hefty taxes to help the government's war machinery.

All you want is a recognition of your nation in the world because you think your government has made the country strong on global platforms and your Modiji is such a visionary leader whom the world leaders respect and value a lot. You, thus, overlook how much servility your prime minister shows when the president of the US or the prime minister of the UK meets him. For you, bowing to the white-skinned Europeans and Americans is a good gesture, as it means pure business, sheer profit. You may do much more for a green card, isn't it?

You're a muddle-headed, jerkified, sheer ignoramus and dimwit joker, who and whose ilk of hate mongers are breeding the kinds of Shambhulal Raigir and other Hindutva terrorists, who are inciting communal hatred, supporting American colonialism and the plunder of Indian resources-natural, mineral and human, by the giant corporations.

You happen to be the faithful lover of the Brahminical caste system and the feudal economy on which it exists. Your presence and dominance over the Indian political and social structure, due to your socio-economic and caste privileges, is actually a bane for the nation, or whatever is left of it. The faster it goes, the better for humanity.

In a world that wants to progress, freedom from hunger, wars, violence, economic disparity and sectarian-religious bigotry, we need more people like Kim Jong-un, despite their trend of cult building, because they are antidotes to the imperialist hegemonic agenda of the US and its notorious allies and servile bootlickers, including the regime of Hindutva that is all set to change India into a saffron-Talibanised state.

Without Kim Jong-un, Bashar al-Assad and resistance leaders like them, it will be impossible to build up a global coalition to defeat the US imperialism and its neo-fascist world order that serves the interest of the big corporations, banks and companies that employ pathetic people like those who call themselves as “Bhakts” and whom we love to call – pathetic losers. So train your eyes to respect those who deserve respect and get that brain out of the shit hole it's immersed in.
