Tipu Sultan and the Bigots of RSS

Saturday, November 14, 2015

Since few days, the RSS and the BJP have created a ruckus over the issue of the celebration of Tipu Sultan Jayanti in Congress-ruled Karnataka. The issue is centred around the state government's decision to celebrate the birth anniversary of Tipu Sultan, the emperor of Mysore, who martyred combating the colonial aggression of the British East India Company in 1799. The RSS and its progeny are calling Tipu Sultan a bigot despot who was against the Hindus and these nincompoops are ransacking and vandalising the state, with an attempt to incite communal mob-violence against the Muslim community in the state.

The Sangh has synchronised the berserk with the UK visit of Narendra Modi this week as a signal to the British imperialism that the fascist outfit RSS, formed during the direct colonial rule of Britain over India to assist the imperialist endeavour in tearing down the harmonious fabric of the Indian society, is still at the service of its ex-masters. The RSS still despises and loathes any anti-colonial figure who troubled their former colonial masters. Tipu Sultan, being a Muslim, has more reasons to earn the vitriol that's rolled out now, 216 years since his martyrdom.

The visit of Narendra Modi to the UK is a dire need of the Indian comprador capitalists, who are madly searching for new sources of foreign monopoly capital investment in their ventures, and Britain is a big source of monopoly and finance capital for Adani - Ambani and their mates, who would liberally untie their purse strings for the RSS and the BJP during elections. In order to properly appease foreign monopoly capital it was mandatory for the Modi regime to ensure that FDI limits are increased in all crucial sectors like defence, banking, real estate, plantation, etc., to help the likes of RBS, BUPA, HSBC, etc. to extract more super profit from India without worrying about paying back to the nation.

Also, it is imperative for Narendra Modi's government and the foreign powers, whose boot this regime licks, that the poor people of India are divided into antagonistic camps on the basis of religion so that the foreign monopoly capital does not face any strong resistance from the workers and peasants when they exploit them more vigorously than what's done now and plunder the resources of the country with the unapologetic support from Modi and his coterie.

The RSS and its off spring organisations like the BJP, VHP, Bajrang Dal, Sri Ram Sene, Shiv Sena, etc. Concept of one should invest in in you will bring in global in India then this was need to make a poster which we have already drafted with pictures so these names are come from Mumbai so are constantly working to ensure that communal tension between the majority Hindus and the minority Muslims is brewed within a limit in the country so that on one hand, the Hindutva fascist regime can resist the attempts of the working class and the peasantry to unite against foreign plunder, on the other hand, to keep the situation below the level of large scale riots and genocides so that the corporate sector does not face economic losses, loss of man days or face international condemnation for oiling a machinery that openly butchers people. This way the environment of fear and communal terror is kept switched on to terrorise Muslims, Christians, Dalits and Tribals.

Tipu Sultan has become a target of the Hindutva fascist camp as though he martyred fighting as a patriot against British colonial aggression, he did not qualify for the Sangh criteria of patriots, because he was a Muslim and Muslims, according to the Sangh's ideological parameters, cannot be called martyrs, because they aren't as 'Indian' and 'loyal' to India as the mercy-petition writer Vinayak Savarkar was. Thus, the RSS and the BJP, who hails the British agent Vinayak Savarkar and British lackey Golwalkar as patriotic Indians, cannot stand the legacy of Tipu Sultan, who championed anti-colonialism, progressive nationalism, free capitalism and moreover the ideas of republicanism in an 18th-century utmost feudal India.

The saffron morons, who derive their history lessons from pro-colonialist historians like Kirkpatrick, etc., are determined to prove that Tipu Sultan was not a patriot but a bigot Muslim despot, by defeating whom the British actually 'liberated' Mysore and its 'persecuted' Hindus. The actual hatred of the running dogs of the neo-colonial empire of the US against Tipu Sultan is fuelled by the fact that being a Muslim, Tipu Sultan unleashed a series of measures that laid the foundation for a capitalist economy, industrialised economy and, the monarch, inspired by the ideology of the French Revolution, even started supporting the idea of republicanism. It was Tipu Sultan who founded the first ever Republican Club in Mysore and called himself 'Citizen Tipu' as a part of the endeavour of modernising Mysore; while even in 2015, the RSS and the host of organisations under its command can neither be in peace with the idea of democracy nor do they want to keep India a republic anymore, even not in nomenclature. Contrary to Tipu Sultan's vision of a free capitalist republic, the RSS and the BJP strongly believe that India should become an official neo-colony of the US and should be transformed to a theocratic, Hindutva fascist monarchy, with Narendra Modi at its helm.

The RSS-guided Narendra Modi government in New Delhi is already changing history curriculum to whitewash the heinous crimes of their Brahminical forefathers and their foreign masters, to glorify Brahminical hegemony, present mythological stories as history and stamp the real history of India as mythology to captivate young minds. The inputs from the Kannada Sanghis are helping Smriti Irani's history saffronisation project under the supervision of the RSS. The recent turbulence in Karnataka is attempting to paint glorious anti-colonial rulers like Tipu Sultan in the darkest shades and project the British agents like Savarkar and Golwalkar as 'nationalist' figures to fool the youth.

The legacy of Tipu Sultan, his uncompromising stance against foreign invasion, his progressive vision of an industrialised India, will always act as an inspiration for the progressive and democratic Indian people of all religion, faith and caste, who will continue to uphold the anti-colonial and anti-feudal legacy of Tipu Sultan and other such rulers loathed by the Modi regime, and despite all the conspiracies hatched by the RSS and the BJP to dismantle the unity of the people, the people will strengthen their ties through their united struggle against the nefarious agendas of the Hindutva fascism-driven Modi regime and the people will surely achieve victory in accomplishing the very dreams of a strong, united, and progressive India. Something that Tipu Sultan dreamt about his kingdom.
